Transportation Professionals

Coalition for independent contractors association for family businesses, owner operators, technology contractors, transportation contractors, healthcare contractors and construction professionals.

Despite the rising cost of diesel and a slowing economy, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports strong demand for transportation (trucking and delivery professionals), with employment expected to increase by 8 percent between 2006 and 2016.

While independent contractors in any industry enjoy the freedom of being their own boss, dictating their schedule and having increased flexibility in their career, there are increasing concerns that special interest groups and others have encroached on this freedom and are making it more and more difficult to be self-employed. That’s where we come in.
