Other Independent Contractors

Coalition for independent contractors association for family businesses, owner operators, technology contractors, transportation contractors, healthcare contractors and construction professionals.

Our site is here to give you a voice and keep you informed on the issues that threaten your ability to have your own business and be an independent contractor. You need to know how federal and governmental pressures can take this freedom away from you.

While independent contractors in any industry enjoy the freedom of being their own boss, dictating their schedule and having increased flexibility in their career, there are increasing concerns that special interest groups and others have encroached on this freedom and are making it more and more difficult to be self-employed. That’s where we come in.

The Coalition for Independent Contractor Freedom (CFICF) is working to inform independent contractors – and the people who hire them – about the issues that threaten this working way of life and jeopardize an important business model.

Through our website, our goal is to provide you with the opportunity to create a significant voice for independent contractors, offer an online community where you can talk to like-minded people and discuss relevant topics, and keep you abreast of important legislation and other current events affecting independent contractors.
