Healthcare Professionals

Coalition for independent contractors association for family businesses, owner operators, technology contractors, transportation contractors, healthcare contractors and construction professionals.

As an independent contractor in healthcare, you are part of a very large – and growing – group of professionals.

Our site is here to give you a voice and keep you informed on the issues that threaten your ability to have your own business and be an independent healthcare contractor. You need to know how federal and governmental pressures can take this freedom away from you.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, healthcare, the nation’s largest industry sector, provided 14 million jobs in 2006 and three percent (or 438,000) of those were for self-employed workers!

While independent contractors in any industry enjoy the freedom of being their own boss, dictating their schedule and having increased flexibility in their career, there are increasing concerns that special interest groups and others have encroached on this freedom and are making it more and more difficult to be self-employed. That’s where we come in.
